Upon my release in March 2020, PPLAAF supported my integration into the society. This was after spending 16 months in prison in Juba Central Prison in South Sudan. There was no other reason for imprisonment apart from retaliations I faced for whistleblowing on illegal and corrupt activities carried out by the energy company in South Sudan, Trinity Energy Ltd.
A lot of South Sudanese suffer in the hands of few corrupt officials and this drove me to report on the illegal and corrupt activities carried out by Trinity Energy Ltd in South Sudan. Revenue generated from oil resources does not reach the poor, but is infiltrated into corrupt officials.
PPLAAF has supported my cause and has been fighting for me on all fronts. PPLAAF has been providing both financial and legal assistance. I would not have won this war without PPLAAF. Whistleblowing and fighting corruption are wars which can not be achieved alone. You need support from organisations like PPLAAF.
